Welcome to...

Birds On Bikes!

Hi there , Welcome to our site and we are pleased you have found us.  This is our new site and we hope you like it.  We are still having teething problems since take over from the old site and we hope you will bear with us.  If you have any comments or suggestions or would like to contact us, please email Kim Robinson on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

We are are here to do worthwhile things. We are  here to raise the profile of female bikers, and we are here to raise money for charity.  Our first year 2006 we raised over £ 10,000 for Breast Cancer Campaign.  Our second year, we raised money for Macmillan Nurses....£ 17,700.72

This year we are organising some small ride out as well as the large sponsored charity bike ride  we will be doing each year, the funds raised, being donated to a different worthwhile cause each time.

This years charity run will be on 5th, 6th and 7th September 2008.  If you register now you will be sent your sponsorship form and will be well on the way to winning the golden goodie bag which is presented to the person who raises the most money each year.  2006 it was won by Biddy who raised over £ 2000, 2007 it was won by Marilyn who again raised over £2000.  there's your challenge girls!!

We will also be raising the profile, and changing some of the stereotyped concepts of female bikers. This, whilst fund-raising for charity is a seriously worthwhile cause. It becomes even more worthwhile when you can do it by doing the thing you love best, Riding your Bike!!!

Please take time to browse our site, and find out more about us, and what we are aiming to do. Best of all please join us on our ride, Female or Male, your welcome!

CLOSING DATE

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTERING FOR THE RIDE IS FRIDAY 29TH AUGUST 2008
